Being a test expert in an agile team is very different than working in the QA department of a classical organization. As part of the team you need to be proactive and engage the development cycle throughout all its stage. This means that our traditional ways for testing our products, need to evolve as well. During this training we will see how agile mindset considers quality as the cornerstone of success, we will understand the expectations from the QA expert inside an agile team and we will learn tools and technique that will enable us to fulfil these expectations.

Agile is about working software. And there wouldn’t be software if we stopped coding, so we dedicated this workshop to the coding craftsman, and those who aspire to become one.

This is an opportunity to learn about different ways to code, experience them, and hopefully taste enough so you can take them back to your office and start using them.

Test Driven Development (TDD) is one of the core practices of Agile software development. Many companies have realized the benefits of using this technique to write code. However learning how to TDD is not always easy, using it on the existing system can be even harder. This two-day program provides a highly interactive exploration of unit test automation, principles and practices.  Participants will learn the main difficulties of using these principles in a live system, the main strategies for tackling such a task and how one can practically start writing those tests.

The Refactoring workshop is a one day training module.

Engineering practices such as Clean Code, OOP, TDD etc. are noble ideas, and it’s not that hard to implement them when the code is new and shiny, but when it comes to an old and tangled legacy code, things are a bit more complicated.

In this workshop we will provide you techniques and skills that will help you tackle the difficulties that pop up when you come to refactor a legacy code.

Clean and well designed code is the key to a maintainable software. Unfortunately, many teams struggle to achieve this in real life. Everyone wants shorter development times, increased productivity and better quality software – this can be achieved mainly by acquiring good coding skills.
